Welsh and a brother of Mrs. John Tait of this city has re- turned to Casper after 18 months’ overseas service with the 150th field artillery, attached to the Rainbow division. Pyt. Welsh was engaged in many battles but came out without as much as a scratch. NEW STOCK YARDS. BASIN, Wyo., May 16.—John Pe- trie, live stock agent of the Burling- ton of Lincoln, Neb., visited the local Stock yards this week and will recom- mend the erection of new yards at this point to accommodate the stock- men. The yards will be built in time for the shipping season this fall and will be commodious and provided with every facility for the proper handling of shipping stock.
