va pe Wisper Duiny wiioune PAGE SEVEN HUMGERING I LE TOO Local Interests to Work Out Prac- tical System for Renumbering Houses to Relieve Con- fusion Here. The much-talked of improvemen: of renaming and renumbering the streets of Casper in order to arrang< a definite plan that will be understood by the most casual visitor, took im petus last night in the suggestior that postoftice department, thru W. W. Sproul, acting postmaster, th: chamber of commerce and a com mittee of the city council be calle together today for drafting the fina outline of the proposed improvement, It is the plan of the council to have the matter in such shape that fina! action can be taken on the renum bering plans at the coming Monda: night meeting of the city council. According to the present plan: all north ‘and south streets will b: named according to some definit plan and all east and west street will be numbered according to chosen plan. For numbering houses the plan call for placing a number for ever; lot, instead of every house at th present time. This will facilitat: vreatly the finding of locations i: Casper and will eliminate the presen tem of indiscriminate numbering After the preliminary plan is pu into effect, permission for futur numbering will have to be obtaine: from the city clerk. who will direc the numbering of property accordin to the local number in any district. CROOKS FLEECE BANK CASHIER IN IRIS FILN James Forbes, a young bani cashier of Wattelville, was unfor tunate enough to get into the toil of Eastern crooks who fleeced hin at poker. It is rumored he usec money belonging to the bank t make godo his losses. However, th crooks were captured in the act. of robbing the bank, through the in strumentality of Nora, a waif, wh« came into town in a box car. Th¢ whole agfeir was hushed up‘and-thc young man and the girl who appar ently saved him—are to be married That is romance with a vengeance— and proves that the Middle West sti has its exciting experiences. This is a brief synopsis of the plo of “When Do We Eat?” a new pic ture by C. Gardner Sullivan, starrin: Enid Bennett and produced b; 7 Ince for Paramount. I Thomas H. will be seen at the Iris theater to morrow. FELT LIKE MUSCLES WERE TIED IN KNOT That Is Exactly the Way Tinda! Says His Rheumatism Acted. “Thad never taken a dose of Tar lac in my life till some six weeks agc but IT have received more benefi from the three bottles I have just finished than from all the other medi cir I have taken put together,’ George R. Tindall, of 6002 18t) v South Seattle, the other day Mr, Tindall is employed at the Skin ner & Eddy Ship Yards. “For several years,” he continued suffered terribly from muscula matism and kidney trouble. Thr muscles of my right arm would drav up at the elbow, and feel like they were tied in a knot. I had no appe tite and the little I forced dowr didn’t do me much, if any, good My kidneys worried me night anc y, I had an awful misery up anc down my spine, and my back righ’ over my kidneys would hurt so ba¢ that if I stooped over it would al most Kill me to straighten up again T couldn't rest well at night, anc many a time I would wake up at mid night, and never sleep another winl the balance of the night, then my back would start hurting so bad thai I could hardly get up out of bed. T guess I nave taken most every kind of medicine sold withou! getting a bit of relief, and I was in mighty bad shape when I decided to sce if Tanlac would help me. Well. T can honestly say that I haven’t had an ache or a pain since shortly after I started on Tanlac. I sleey like a log at night, and my wife tell: me that I’m liable to eat us both out oe house and home if I keep on with ne Appetite Tanlac has given me. 1 eet So well and hearty in every way “ at r have told the boys down at ie ship yard how much good Tanlac He! done for me, for I hope that my joe ence will be the means of help. ne ethers who may have trouble ike IT had.” Tanlac is soid in Casper by the peer Pharmacy and in Aleova by fe Alcova Mercantile Co.—Adv. app gat cing Home cooking at the fla vey. A lelegation from the property owners ppeared before the city council last light and requested that a sidewalk mprovement district be inaugurated it the earliest possible moment. During the wet season, it is al- nost impossible to reach west Rail- ‘oud avenue because of the lack of sidewalks. People living in that dis- rict during the wet season ure forc- ad to take the railroad tracks wher- sver possible in order to secure safe yassage. When it is necessary io eave the railroad tracks the people iving in that vicinity are forced to vade thru mud, many times up to the hoe tops. The chief obstruction to the lay- ag of a continuous sidewalk from he business district, has been the wo blocks of school property. If the idewalk is ordered in by the city, the ligh schoo) athletic grounds will iave to be bounded on the north by \ sidewalk. According to the views expressed t the council meeting last night it ; believed that the High © school oard will make no objection to the take good his losses. However, the lan wholeheartedly as the improve- ient is greatly needed to permit tudents reaching the school in that icinity. Besides the west Railroad avenue idewalk request there were num- petitions of many districts in ner for benefits of the city im- royement including water and sewer nes and for add al sidewalk nd street improvement. — HUGH M’KENZIE RETURNS FROM COBLENZ ARMY Hugh mploy of Sam T: t the time he was called by tl ective service, returned to C. esterday with the Mont sent which passed thru here.
