That eastern wool buyers will be attracted to Casper this year more than at any time in its history is evidenced by the fact that scores of inquiries from people who have form- erly only taken a passing interest in the Wyoming woot industry have n received by the Chamber of Commerce. The advent of the wool/buying n will be moved up somewhat year owing to the fact that ideal er conditions have prevailed all winter and are expected during the , early lambing and shearing season. The first of the wool buyers repre- senting a large Boston house are ex- pected to arrive in Casper about April 15, about three weeks ahead of the record of former years. The general influx of wool buyers is expected about May 1 according to the reservations for accommoda- tions that are being made at the Henning hotel. Mr. Bott reports that over a score of inquiries for prospec- tive wool buyers have already been received. OMAHA CROWD EXTENDED GLAD HAND ON ISI (Continued from Page One) and Wyoming is taxed proportion- ately for the aid which the federal au- thorities are extending, Mr. True pointed out that it would be the part of bad business to defeat a bond is- sue which has for its purpose the se- curing of government money in a like amount. In such an event the money for which Wyoming is taxed will go “ to other states, unless made avail; able here. Other features covered by the speaker were details of the bonds, which probably can be floated at 4 per cent, their retirement by means of the automobile license tax and the saving that will accrue to car own- ers thru improvement of the roads. Natrona county, he emphasized, would come in for the largest allot- ment of funds in the state, based on the ratio of assessed valuation to the entire valuation of the state. COLORADO OFFICIAL SECONDS ROAD PLANS The remarks of the state engineer were seconded by James R. Nolan, scretary of state of Colorado and widely known newspaper man of that ,» Who was called upon for re- marks.
