The question of laying a water line on North Center street from the Natrona County Court House to the connection with water line at or near the railroad tracks of the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Rail- road company, which space is to be covered with paving in paving Dis- trict No. 7. The water committee re- ported that they had attempted to get bids from various plumbers for the laying of said water line and that the best bid they received was from W. F. Henning who agreed to lay said water line, dig trench and refill, furnishing all labor, lead and oakum, the City to furnish and string the pipe at the rate of one dollar ($1.00) per lineal foot. Moved by T. A. Dean, seconded by M. L. Bishop, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to enter into a contract with W. F. Henning for the laying of said water line, the City to furnish all pipe and fittings and string the same along the line of” ditch, W. F. Henning to furnish all fabor, lead and oakum, to lay said pipe, digging and refilling the ditch, for the sum of one dollar ($1.00) per lineal foot. An aye and nay vote being called resulted: Perry A.
