Sg eee CITY COUNCIL IS CALLED IN SPECIAL MEET A special meeting of the city council will be held tonight for the purpose of hearing the protests of property owners against the inaugu- ration of the improvement districts in Casper. The improvement pro- tests can cover the proposed side- walk, curbing, grading and paving work that is proposed. It is expect- ed that comparatively little objection to the proposed work will. develop owing to the fact that the improve- ments are badly needed and because of the easy terms which the city has arranged to permit property owners to pay for the improvements. The entire town has been divided into three sidewalk and curb districts and contracts will be let for the work this summer unless too much opposition to the work develops at tonight’s meeting.
