Miss Jourgenson and John C. Hays Guests of Honor at Dinner. (i A very pleasant party of young people met last night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sproul. Miss Norma Jourgensen and John C. Hays whose engagement has just been an- nounced, were the guests of honor. The decorations of the table were symbolic of the coming wedding and many impromptu toasts and pleasing rhymes were given during dinner which was served at 7:00 o'clock. Music and games formed the eve- ning’s entertainment. The guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Storrie, the Misses Mae Winter, Ruth Wallace, Norma Jourgensen, Dr. Charles aBiley, and Mr. Kesnor Long. i acd Dance at Soldiers’ Club Saturday Night. An informal dance was given at the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ club by the Mothers’ league on Saturday evening Pumpkin pies, made by the member: of the league, and coffee were served. Excellent music was furnished by Miss Burnett and Mr. Ritcher. “* 8 The rehearsals of the “Belle of Arcadia” are progressing nicely and the management feels very much en- couraged.
