The holdings of the Fargo and Ad- dison Oil companies in the Poison Spider field adjoin the government U. S. withdrawal on all sides. Mr. Weathers, statedsthat tne Addison's big gas well No. 1 would be able to furnish fuel for city of years to come. The offic s stated that they would se a well a month for each company and want to have their pro- duct on the market in the near future Mr. Hunsaker of Ogden, Utah, vice president of both Fargo and Addi- son Oil companies, is in Casper for a few days and is more than pleased with progress of both companies. ees TEAPOT DOME 10 SEE NEW TEST THIS YEA The Teapot Dome is another test soon, statement made Hugo- William: company that they had m ase on part of their holdings in the district to A MeDaniels, who is alread) equipment to the field to start a weil on the holdi The new well will be started on section 28-south of the Mosher well UNITED PETROLEUM LUOKS UP ON DEVELOPMENT NOW GOING ON IN TWO FIELES The increase in the market price of United Petroleum stock, from 6 to 15 cents, since the first of the year, | is largely due to the prospects of the going to see cording to the erday by the company in developing its 100- e at Burkburnett. It is the expectation of the drillers that they will hit the same sand that is yielding the big wells in the Rock River dome, to the northwest, at a depth of about 1,700 feet. The oil encountered in the wells drilied to the first sand in the Big Hollow is not suitable for the present needs of the refinery, as it is mainlv useful as a lubricant and the lubri- cating unit is not yet installed. The deeper sand, shown by the Rock River structures, contains a much lighter and freer flowing oil, consider- ably higher in gasoline content. On the Cooper dome, fifteen miles northwest of the Big Hollow, Mid- west interests are drilling for the deeper sands. LANDER EXPERIMENTS IN REFINING MAY HELP THE HEAVY OIL PRODUSERS At the Wind River refinery at Lander experts are working on a ne process of gasoline recovery from the heavy black oils of the Hudson and Dallas fields that may prove of incalculable value to the produ of black or sphaltum base oils, since laboratory tests have proven it will ver about seventeen per cent of soline com d with seven or ght per cent, s the Wyoming State Journal of under. The new method is called the Al- len process and the work now beir done in; for the purpose of develop- will of value cial, If it be made to approximately the values ob- tained in the laboratory at a cost that will not be excessive, it bids fair to revolutionize the refining in- dustry sofar as it applies to heavy carrying a low gasoline content. ‘BOOT HEEL IS NEW OIL FIELD NEAR LARAMIE so that it be Stanley Morian of Laramie, in charge of the work on the Boot - Heel dome states the rig a essary for d and that the ting for the v die dow erected drilling: il structur that 1 Steffin, a vicin yo. Smith An old enemy is with us again, and whether we fight a German ora germ, we must put up a good fight, and not be afraid. The influenza runs a very brief course when the patient is care- ful, and if we keep the system ~in good condition and thrcw off the poisons which tend to accumulate within our bodies, we can escape the disease. Remember these three C’s— a clean mouth, a clean skin, clean bowels, To carry off poisons from the system and keep the bowels loose, laily doses of a pleasant laxative should be taken, Such a.one fg made of May Apple, leaves of Aloe, root of Salep, and called Dr, Pierce's Pleas- ant Pellets.
