The Fargo company erected a Standard outfit on their lo- tion last summer putting in a new string of standard tools. All equip- ment is now on the ground for well No. 1 and the well will be started as soon as the drillers cam rig up. W. D. Weathers, president and manager of both the Addison and Fargo companies states that it is his opinion there will be a big drilling campaign in the Poison Spider field ths spring as the Addison Oil com- pany will resume operations after the winter shut-down about March 1. WILLIAMS SALE RUMORED Rew That Colorado Interests; Are Dickering for Control | Not Confirmed There is a rumor current in market} cireles that large financial interests in Colorado are dickering for cael trol of the E. T. Williams Oil com- pany at $4 per share, on the entire} stock of $500,000 shares for which! the company is incorporated, making a rumored bid of $2,000,000 for the transfer of the company. There are 375,000 shares of stock of the com- pany outstanding at the present time which, according to present market quotations are worth approximately $3 per share. The remaining $500,000 that will ‘be received for the sale of the com- pany after all stock is bought in will be distributed in the form of a dividend pro rata to the holdings of the individual stockholders at the! time the deal is consummated, or a total of $5.33 net per share. Gere Williams president of the company is in Denver and Martin McGrath another officer is in Ther- mopolis so it was unable to yet a/ confirmation that the deal was pend- ing. Its articles, filed with the secretary of state show that it will be known as the Rambler Consolidated Mines cor- poration, that it will operate at Holmes, Albany county, and that it will maintain offices at Laramie ana, Chicago. Its shares will have a par value of $1 each. The first board ot directors consists of John M. Stager, James K. Blish, Henry C. Jones, Luther F. Binkey, Lucius Turner, William McKinley and R, M.
