It has been impossible to epee | a complete list of the speakers, but| the War Industries Board has prom- ised to send Lewis Penwell and one or two others from Washington. There will be a delegation of wool-| «¢pj men from Chicago, as well as stock- yards’ representatives from that city} and from Omaha, and it is expected that the National Woolgrowers’ Asso- | ciation will send two or three repre-| sentatives. | Two sessions will be held at the! Grand Theater each day, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p. m. These sessions | will be devoted to business except that the Kilties Band will furnish music for al] sessions, as well as the Casper Orchestra which has been en- gaged for the three days. In the matter of entertainment the local committees have left nothine to he desired. The Nine-Piece Kilties Band will be on tap all the time and the vaudeville company playing at the Isis at the same time, have their own band. The Casper Orchestra has been engaged to furnish music for the ball at the Armory and for the different sessions of the convention. They will also play at the Noble dining room each evening in addition to furnish- ing music for the banquet Saturday evening. Thursday night Farlow’s famous “Wolf Drive” will be shown at the Grand, and the Kilties Band will furnish music, songs, dances and other entertainment. Friday night a dance will be given at the Armory for the delegates and their wives. It will be an invitation affair, as it will be impossible to accomntddate ~the public. | Saturday night a banquet will be served at the Noble for the visitors and their wives. } The Isis has engaged a vaudeville company for all three nights of the session and the Grand will show fea- ture pictures éach night. } Secretary Fred Earl has been no- tified that the east bound passenger train on Sunday morning will leave at 8 o’clock to enable all visitors from Montana and the Basin country to catch. the north bound train on the Burlington at Bonneville. DRIVEN FROM HOME BY THREAT TO KILL, MAN ASKS DIVORCE DEGREE Charges that his affections were | spurned and that his wife’s violent and ungovernable temper finally | culminated in her attacking him with | a large knife and driving him away | from home, are contained in divorce proceedings instituted this week by Thomas A. Young against Theresa Young, supplemented by the claim that she frequently woke him from) his sleep to ‘nag and tease” him. Despite this treatment, the petition! sets forth, he has been and is now willing to provide for her, but in lieu of similar feeling on his wife’s part he asks an absolute decree. DESERTION (§ CHARGED | IN KITE DIVORCE PLEA Harriett A. Kite has instituted suit for divorce against her husband, Alpheus W. Kite, on ground of deser- tion and non-support, She also seeks the custody of two minor children. COMING HOME SOON, WRITES C. L. HAMMOND, M. H. Hammond is in receipt of a letter from his brother, Private C./ L. Hammond, 50th Artillery, A. E.| F., that while he expects to’ be among; the first to sail for home, their act-| ivities thus far have been confined to shifting from one place to another. He adds he never felt better in his life, and by way of emphasizing un- complimentary remarks about French currency encloses a 50-centime note asa souvenir. Because he ‘can’t tell it all” in a letter, Hammond reserves his story of war experiences until his arrival and dwells largely on per- sonal matters, which strike him as more interesting,-now that the war is} over. toy oe eae ON | | | | Tuesday evening at the |Templé the members of the Caledo- {nian club and their friends will enjoy |e dancing party. . jing a wide popularity and the dances 6.—With held by the club are always among the flu epidemic abated to the extent|the most pleasant.
