Pero Miri : FOR SALE FOR SALE | * NOTICE OF DIVIDEND SECRETARY OF NATRONA COUNTY RED GROSS UNIT SUBMITS FLATT Expenditures for Mercy Work Run High; Big Results Here” The results obtained thru the ef- forts of the Natrona County Red. Cross chapter, briefly reviewed in! Thursday’s issue, are of great inter-| est to hundreds of local members| and in corder that they may gain a} more explicit idea of the magnitude of the local mercy organization, the report of the secretary as submitted at Wednesday’s meeting is published in full as follows: Report of the Secretar: September 11, 1918. the Chairman and Executive Committee: Immediately following the organ-}| ization meeting held on April 11, 1917, the Executive Committee, pro- ceeded to the appointment of chair- men for various committees for the! prosecution of the work contem- plated for the Natrona County Chap- ter. All of the chairmen so appoint- ed took charge of their several de-| partments and made the necessary | arrangements for carrying on the work, the progress of which, and the result of which, will be enumerated in detéI in this report. During the period covered by this report, it was| necessary to change the chairmen of | some of the committees. Those who! have served and-who are serving as| heads of the various departments of | the local Chapter are listed below, | and a brief statement is made as to the work accomplished by each de- partment. First Aid Committee Dr. J. F. O'Donnell, Chairman and Instructor. Dr. J. C. Kamp, Chairman and In-! structor, (successor to Dr. J. F.| O'Donnell.) Dr. W. C. Foster, Vice Chairman. Miss A. Stoneman, Secretary and Supervisor. Public Instruction Committee Mrs. W. S. Kimball, Chairman. Dr. J. F. Leeper, Vice-Chairman. Miss A. Stoneman, Secretary and Supervisor. | Miss Grace McDowell, R. N., In-} structor, E. H. and H. C. of S. Under the jurisdiction of the two above mentioned committees were a umber of classes held for instruc- tion in first aid and elementary hy- giene and home care of the sick. The First Aid Classes were con- ducted by Dr. J. F. O’Donnell, and classes in Elementary Hygiene and Home Care of the Sick were con- ducted by Miss Grace McDowell, R. N. Miss Grace McDowell was em- ployd by the Chapter at $125 per month. During the four months of} her stay in “Casper a_ number of classes were instructed in her de- partment, and there were sixty-one diplomas issued. On account of Dr. O'Donnell entering into the service of his country, and Miss McDowell into another department of Red Cross work, the classes under these two committees were discontinued. It is the desire of the Mountain Divis- ion, that this work be continued, and| arrangements should be made as) soon as possible to resume the} classes. In the absence of Dr. O’Don- nell, Dr. J. C. Kamp has agreed to continue the classes in First Aid| instruetion. The Chapter has on hand the necessary books of instruc-| tion used in both of these classes. Civilian Relief Committee M. C.
