WEAVER CALLED TO GAPITAL: NO MUSTER TODAY Next Drill Set for Friday Night with Mustering in anes igh Regimental Sought Here The mustering in of Companies D and E of the Casper Home Guards was called off upon Captain Lanning receiving a telegram from Adjutant General W. K, Weaver last night to the effect that General Weaver had | 1y been notified by the war department at Washington to leaye for the nation’s ‘capital at once. General Weaver wired the Washington offi- cials stating that he was to muster in the Casper Guard today but a re- turn wire ordered him to put off the muster_day to August 19, as the busi- ess which needed his attention at Washington was urgent and would not brook delay. At the same time, orders were re- ceived by Colonel George M. Immediately upon re- ceipt of the new orders, Captain Lanning issued orders for the annul- ing of the muster as planned and} setting the date of the new day as Monday, August 19, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.
