The National Food Administration's recommendation and the very high prices and close margins we are compelled to make, has caused us to take this action. All our purchases must be paid for before delivery and our capital being limited, we are compelled to discontinue the present system. You realize that there is a great expense and loss to the credit business and in changing to cash we will prove to you it pays to pay cash, and by adopting this system that the government has so strongly recommended and to treat one and all alike, we will ask our patrons to cooperate with us and make arrangements to pay for all meats on delivery, because to carry out this plan we will be unable to leave any articles unless paid for. Anyone that wishes to pay cash in advance for conyenience, please call and inquire as to our plans. By request of the government we will make only one delivery a day to each family, as follows: : North side of the C. & N. W. Railroad from 9 to 12 a. m. and south of the tracks after | p. m.
