Sargent and wife, * Rural School Purchases Liberty Bonds. ‘ Last fall the Tygard school west of town held spelling matches. with a neighboring school and each time were returned a winner. They took the proceeds of these matches and purchased Baby Bonds. The students of the Tygard school are good patri- ots as well as good spellers and they and their teacher, Miss Winnie Priest- ly, have set an example for all of the schools of the county.
