ARREST SLACKERS Governor Will Give Reward for As- rest of Drafted Men Failing to Report for Duty. Provost Marshal General Crowder wired to Governor Gardner that the 42| government will pay a reward of $50 for the arrest of every drafted man who has wilfully failed to report for duty, and that such parties will be subject to court martial. In . cases where there is evidently no intention to violate the federal draft act, the persons who have not reported will be sent along to their training camps. The government will also pay all ex- penses incident to the apprehension of those who seek to dodge the pro- visions of the draft act. Change in: Insurance Agency. J. E. Fullbright, of the Fullbright & Choate Insurance agency, has soid his interest in that firm to J. W. Choate. The transfer took place Monday morning. Mr, Choate is not new to. the in- surance business, having for a num- ber of years conducted an agency in this city. The firm is now composed of J. W. Choate and his'son, Leslie, doing business under the name of Choate & Son. Mr. Fallbright_ has not definitely what-he will do. decided several of his big boned Poland China hogs at the State Fair. Mr. Baker is justly proud of the showing that his stock made at the Fair, where they were bing shown in competition with the best in the state, and that means the best anywhere. He won the first premium for aged sow with his Big Lady D. This sow was three years old in March, and has had three litters of pigs, 38 in all and has saved 26 of them. This is the third time that Mr. Baker has exhibited, at the State Fair and the third time that he has won first pre- mium on aged sow, which we are in- formed is a record that has never been excelled by any breeder in the state, Besides the first premium in this class he won 11 premiums on other hogs from his herd, Christian Science Services.
