Ahlfield is doing some good work on our roads. The road from Mr, Jarvis’ west. is being graded. Mr. D. L. Wald- ron is pulling the grader with his plow engine. They will grade from Matt Henson's south some time this week. Guy Thomas went to Pleasant Gap Tuesday to run a hay baler for his father-in-law, Mr. Hall. Bird Barr and son, Derrel, of Topeka, Kansas came Monday for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Barr. Miss Lucille Wheatley who has been quite sick is much better at this writing. Dr. Lusk has been waiting on her. Mrs. Albert Leonard and -son, Albert Jr. is visiting with her mother, Mrs. G. W. Jarvis. Mrs. . Leonard has been quite sick and we hope she will soon recover.
