Friday evening when Mrs. Alice Mains and Miss Irene Mains returned from the _ street fair at Adrian they found their neighbors had arranged a_ sur- prise in their honor. When they entered the house they found it filled with friends and they were greeted by the strains of Lohen- grin’s wedding march in honor of Miss Irene’s approaching marriage to Mr. H. F. Sentech entertained Sat- urday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Cannon on High Street in honor of their sister, Miss Helen Hulse and cousin, Miss Mildred Hulse of Kansas City.
