The district clerks are sending in their estimates and enumeration lists now and these are due not later than May 15th. Most of our clerks are very prompt and careful but a few are the reverse and last year it became necessary to go NUMBER 29 See out and set some of these. Many of our schools have employed their teachers for next year and others are seeking teachers. I have several calls for good men teachers at very good wages. Men of exper- jence are wanted and who can furnish good references. Dou- ble Branch in Pleasant Gap is doing as well I presume but they should not quit until they have made a good cistern, something they have needed for forty years and need it every day they have school.
