Fresno, Cal, July 6 —After a bat- tle between a rescuing party and Cleveland Rogers, pretty 18 year old Edna Domeninge was taken from the clutches of the kidnapers, who cap- tured her Monday night at the home of her father, Adolph Dominenge, the mineral of] land owner and stock- man, who lives in an {eolated section of Fresno county. Two masked men drove up to the Domentnge house. One of the pair puehed bis rifle into her father’s face. “You go first,” he sald, “and show the young ’un the way,” Climbing {nto the rig beside Do- meninge and the girl, the kidnapere drove out past the houee into the private road to Huron. A mile down the road, Tony Love- allcommanded Domeninge to climb out. “We will keep the girl,” he said, ‘Suet like she is, and we want $5,000 from you. “It there be a mistake your daughter will be dead at night.
