Angle, had suf. fered a stroke of paralysis and was unable to walk. Dr. Angle held the position as assistant physician at the Nevada asylum for several years, and resigned within the past few years to enter the private practice. Dr. Angle had the repution of being a good phystelan and & most genial gentleman. He was well known In this section and had many friends who regres to hear of his misfor- tunes. First — a big, delicious turkey dinner was given atthe Mills home, after which the ladies were driven to the Walls home, where cards and other games were enjoyed until six o’clock, when a chicken ple dinner was served with all, its appointments. Ths ladies were literally swamped with good things to eat. The Adrian hostesses fully sustained their reputations as entertainers. A Fifty Million Dollar Mortgage was filed for record in the Recorder’s office of Bates county on Monday by attorney forthe Missouri Pacific Rail- way Company. The mortgage cov- ers the Kansas and Colorado branch of the Mo. Pac. and is given to the Guarantee Trust Company, of St. Louis, to secure fires mortgage re- funding bonds. They run for 20 yeare and draw 6 per cent. intereat. The mortgage covers 156 pages, of closely printed matter, and contains 25,000 words.
