Trade Booming For three weeks, beginning Saturday, November 16th. We believe that some acknowledgement is due from us at this time for the generous patronage of the present year. Td say that.we appreciate this patronage would not adequately expresss our true feeling. Therefore, we have planned to show our appreciation in a more substantial manner. It may be poor judgment to.make price reductions right at the height of the séason, when every merchant expects his best profits and when merchandise will command the highest prices, but for one week we are going to do that very thing, and we shall not do it in a half-hearted manrier either. Every department in the store has contributed its quota of items to make this selling event of the greatest interest to the greatest number of people. While on many of the items quoted we take a positive loss Of profit, we do so willingly . and hope that every person will take advantage of the savings. Bear in mind, too, that every item quoted is this season’s goods. A cut price sale at this season means more than it does at the end of the season, because all goods are new. Many have not bought their fall and winter supplies and for those who have not, this is a most opportune time to buy. To buy our goods at these prices is an investment. Our trade in Dress Goods and Silks has been unusually heavy this fall so we will offer in this sale an Assorted lot of Dress Goods worth up to $1.50 yd for $1.00 yard. _ One lot 50-inch ladies cloth 48c yd.
