A boy, the 12-year-old step son of Jess Coryell, residing three miles south and one west of Filley, while pulling weeds ina patch of kaffir corn with other members of the family on the 17th inst was bitten by a rattlesnake at 9 a. m. and died at3 p.m. The reptile bit the boy in two places, on the foot and instep.
