There was not even standing room for those who came, and many were turned away. But talking about enthusiasm! Well, it was out in full force last night, and as for Mr. Graves’ speech, it was a logical and convincing argu- ment trom start to finish. The speaker presented many good points which were all received with strained attention and endorsed by vocifer- ous applause, notwithstanding Mr. Graves was half sick and suffering froma painful headache.
