Dexter, Mo, Aug. 26—W. HB. Henderson,a well known Jumberman and farmer, was shot and Inlled this morning near Aquilla, ten miles north of here, by one of the tenants on his place named Mitland. Mitland had been been warned by Henderson to vacate his premises. He refused to do eo. Onaccount of the character of Mitland, officers were loth to serve ejectment papers Henderson qualified and took the papers home and attempted to serve them on Mitland. Ashe approached the tenant's house he was warned to keep away. He paid no attention to the warning. . Mitland ran in the house, seized his gun and fired two loads of buck shot into Henderson.
