Several have been the subjects and clues followed up, without success, but to-day the im- pression of the murderer has been found on the retina of Mrs. Shear man’seye. The photograph was taken by Fred D. Marsh, a local photographer, and to him is due the credit of haying originated the idea of examining the organ. Blair was once rotten-egged while making a speech at Hannibal, Mo. The story recalls an incident in his visit to Boonville some years after the civil war.
