The bill is as follows: That taxes assessed by state, county or municipal authority agatust any corporate property shull not be classed as debts to be passed upon in the first instance by any court © the United States, but shall be col lectable by the proper authority of such state, county er municipality according to the assessment, wheth er such corporations be in the hands of receiver or not, and no judge or court of the United States shall have any other or greater wnthority to restrain or enjoin or in any way interfere with the collection of such tuxes against any corporation or cor porate property in the hauds oz un der the management of receivers. A seizure, as wellas the sile of any properity for the collection of any such taxes, shall divest the receiver and the court of auy control over the sale, provided that any and all property taken out of the hands of the receiver and from under the control of the court and not sold for such taxes, shall be returned to the receiver and shall be again un der the control of the court, and provided further, that a corporation or a receiver of a corporation shall have the same right that a citizen of such state. couuty or municipality may have under the laws of such state to apply for the abatement of any tax, or to sue or defend on ac- count of any alleged over assessment or improper assesyment in any court having jurisdiction.
