Bitten by Mad Dogs. Clinton Democrat. We learn from J. P. Williams of Springfield township, that a strange small dog made its appearance in that neighborhood, Alberta, and bit a twelve year old son of Mr. Wells, and also bit Mr. Weil's dog. Then a son of Mr. Middlecoff’s who was at Mr. Well’s was bitten by his near dog. The strange dog then went in- | toa meadow where hay was being | put up, and bit a dog belonging to Jerome Journey, which was after- wards killed; but our informant fail- ed to learn whether they succeeded in killing the dog supposed to be mad. The same dog also bit Miss Ida, daughter of John Fowler, who, with Mr. Well’s son was taken to stone at Windsor yesterday. It is worth while to keep a sharp lookout for strange dogs. This is supposed to be the same that bit Fritz Datwiler’s little girl. Last Wednesday, Thursday aud Friday quite a little excitement pre- vailed in the southwest portion of Leesville township, about 151 from Clinton, on account of a small dog belonging to Widow Stewart going mad. It visited quite a num- ber of farms in a four miles, biting and entered a mad d dogs, hogs chickens, number of no person, 80 fi followed by instances but attacked as known. neighbors and fivally | killed on Saturday.
