Allen, a democrat, last night shot wd killed Lawrence Roach, a republican, on Fourth street near Tehama. Allen had caused a number of roters to be cited to appear before the election commissioners,and when Roach met him last night he accus- ed Allen of being an informer. A quarrel ensued and the killing was the result.
