That neighboring towns are fast leaving Butler in the rear. Clinton and Nevada, but recently, were surpassed by Butler, but both were now enjoying splendid systems of water and gas works. Moved by Capt. Tygard that a committee of three be appointed to take into con- sideration and formulate some plan. The chairman appointed Capt. Ty- gard, Wm. E. Walton and J. W. Hannah.
