Charley Orick, of Lee Summit, better known as “blind Charley,” gave a musical concert at the Cum- berland Presbyterian church, Mon- day evening, to a large audience and all who heard him were well pleased with the entertainment. We are glad to say that most of the subseribers to the Well fund have paid up in full, some increased their subscriptions and a number of new names added to the list, so that a depth of at least fifteen hundred feet is insured and possibly more. Last Thursday on the farm of Franklin Freeman, north of the eity a swan which measured six feet from tip to tip was killed and brought to town and placed on exhibition at the store of Albert Badgley.
