Aitkin, Minn., Aug. 4.—One hun- dred Indians in their war paint camp- ed near here this morning, determin- ed to secure the release of the squaws arrested yesterday for committing depredations. The citizens near the camp were much alarmed and pre- pared for fight as serious trouble was feared. Later in the day the squaws were released as the authorities were in awe of the bucks.
