The story of what happens to a popular druggist, contented in his long-established business, when he surrenders to his wife's pleas, retires and tries to learn how to play, “Handy Andy” brings Will from his small- town home to New Orleans for the ‘Mardi Gras, where the shenanigans ensue. An engaging romantic addition to the general hilarity is the love be- tween Robert Taylor and Will's COUPON and Adolphe Menjou are co-starred, offer interesting contrasts, covering, as they do, such diversified locales as @ theatrical boarding house in New York City, a modern night club, the pent house apartment and offices of 8 Broadway producer. the library of @ millionaire’s Long Island estate and @ broadway playhouse on the night of an important opening. Electric lights have replaced gas, but the old gas wall fixtures and chan- deliers still are utilized. The furnt- ture has been patched, or. covered with tidies, but remains the same old, plush type. The pictures on the walls run the gamut from the early bur- lesque days to modern times. Gloss in sateens can be restored by washing in borax-water.
