E. Sevison, state highway engineer. Sevison said the program includes geven jobs which are financed on a 30-50 basis between the federal gov- ernment and North Dakota counties. He said because of the lateness of the season it is improabble that any work will be started on the feeder road program until spring. Fourth Judicial Dis-! in Indianapolis Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Slater, Burleigh county woman who died at the age of 72 at the home of & daughter in Indianapolis, Ind., Oct. 1, were conducted by Rev. Walter E. Vater at Sterling Monday. Burial was in the family lot in the Sterling cemetery. Mrs. Slater had been a resident of Burleigh county since 1885. Her hus- band, B. R. Slater, died in January, 1935. She had made her home with ® daughter, Mrs. John Welch, of Menoken, and was in Indianapolis on visit at the time of her death.
