Her dance training has been ex- tensive. She comes to Bismarck from the Herrstrom School of Music, Chi- cago, where she has taught dancing for the last five years and where, for the last two years, she has been di- rector of the dancing department. Her training, which began in child- hood, includes five years of ballet work with Nicolos Tsoukalas, renown- ed teacher of Chicago; additional study under Ruth Pryor, danseuse of the Chicago Civic Opera for several years; five years of tap dancing with Madame Ludwig of Chicago, Peggy Lou Snyder and Muriel Kretlow. Miss Kirtsinger is almost equipped to teach Spanish, Russian, character, novelty and musical comedy and ada- gio dancing, as well as acrobatic and ballroom dancing. Her work in Rus- sian dancing was done under Alex- ander Kotchetovsky; Spanish under Angel Cansino; novelty and musical comedy under Arthur L. Kretlow, all leading teachers in their respective lines. In her work with small chil- dren Miss Kirtsinger has been par- ticularly successful, having been pre- pared for this work by Gretchen pao ~Schmaal. and. Miss Kirtsinger is a member of the Chicago Association of Dancing Mas- ters and of Jack Manning’s Tap Dance league. During the summer months she attended the association Classes conducted by such leaders of the dance world as Adolph Blome, Veronine Vestoff, Edna Lucile Baum, |Jack Manning, Bobby Rivers and a {number of others equally well-known, Miss Kirtsinger, who received her Bachelor of Philosophy degree from the University of Chicago, took post- graduate work at Northwestern uni- versity. Young, Moorhead, became the bride of Gor- don Edward Onstad, Fargo, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. K. Onstad, 302 Grif- fin St., formerly of Fargo. Rev. F. A. Schaitz, pastor of the church, officiated at the service in the Trinity Lutheran church of Moorhead. Autumn flowers and fern were used throughout the church for the occasion. As the bridal party entered the church Sister Delia Dahl, organist, played the “Lohengrin Wed- Ging March” as processional. A program of nuptial music was sung by Miss Marjorie Ness, Moor- head, including “I eid You Truly” and “O Promise Me. ‘The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father. As her wedding dress she wore a floor- length model of dubonnet transpar- ent velvet, fashioned on princess lines with a high neckline and puffed sleeves. With it she wore a hat of matching velvet, styled in the Duchess of Windsor manner with a shoulder- length veil. White gardenias formed her corsage. She carried a hand- made Mexican handkerchief, sent to her from New Mexico by a friend. Miss Marjorie Simley, as maid of honor, was costumed in royal blue transparent velvet. With it she wore @ matching turban and a corsage of Johanna Hill roses. As her jewelry she wore a gold bracelet, a gift from the bride.
