Indian school at Bismarck, told members of the Rotary club Wednesday. “I feel deeply that unless some changes are coming soon, there is great doubt about the success of cemocracy—and civilization itself may be in the balance,’ he declared. Mote, who is soon to leave Bismarck for Phoenix, Ariz., where he will be superintendent of the U. 8. Motorized infantry, equipped with machine guns, swept into the village of Amouda and found 15 bodies under the ruins of looted and burned houses. (In Jerusalem it was reported that French airplanes had wrecked Amouda with bombs, ahead of the infantry occupation.) Amouda is a village populated by Christians. Appeals under this section shall be heard by the supreme court of the United States at the earliest possible time and shall take precedence over al! other matters not of a like char- acter. This section shall not be con- strued to be in derogation of any right of direct appeal to the supreme court of the United States under ex- isting provisions of law. 3-Judge Injunction Requirement Section 3.
