The entire program will originate in the Amphitheatre in the Union Stockyards, Nov. 30-Dec. 1 -4, at 11:30 a. m. (CST.) over the NBC-KFYR network, As the choicest of the nation’s herds and stables parade in the arena be- fore the judges in America’s 37th annual ccntinental .congress of ag- riculture, the Farm and Home Hour microphones will be on the scene to relay news of prize awards, com- ments of judges and exhibitors, and highlights of the exposition, More than 13,000 animals entered by leading stockmen and farmers in nearly every state in the Union and Province of Canada will be compet- ing for the highest awards the live- stock world has to offer. Each day a portion of the broad- cast will be devoted to the activities of the thousands of boys and girls at- tending the National 4-H Club Con- gress, held annually in conjunction with the International. Walter Blaufuss and the Homesteaders or- chestra will desert the regular NBC Chicago studio for the Amphi- theatre studio each day to play on the program. Other regular Farm and Home Hour entertainment fea- tures also will be presented from the Studios in the stockyards, The broadcasts from the Interna- tional Livestock Exposition will cli- max a busy fall season of radio cover- ‘age by the NBC of outstanding live- stock shows.
