Pembina Will Build New Filtration Unit Pembina, N. D., Nov. 16.—Construc- tion of a filter plant to replace the emergency treatment and filtration unit now in use here is expected to begin within the next 10 days. The unit now in operation was in- stalled when a depletion in the ground supply caused a water short- age in Pembina. It consists of treat- ment with chemicals, chlorination and filtration through pressure filters constructed from three barrels. The new filter plant will be built with the aid of WPA labor.
