RENTS UP According to an analysis made by a management firm in Chicago, the 1936 apartment-rent level is about $2.67 higher than that of 1935 in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune. Adjustment in the fall rent schedule will result in a slight in- crease over the current level, the analysis revealed.. His recommendation is to make some pro- vision for the collection of taxes on the monthly installment plan, such as is required under the Insured Mortgage Plan of the Federal Housing Admin- istration. Under this plan, he tells the Pittsburgh Press, the home bityer's regular monthly payment not only includes a share of the mortgage prin- ciple but interest, mortgage, and has- has! ard insurance premiums, and taxes. IMPROVEMENT “The improvement in realty con- ditions in Philadelphia suburbs is s0 pronounced that only those in close touch with the situation can fully real- ize its extent,” states Charles J.
