FATHER OF KIDNAP VIGTIN ASKS HELP Clear Path to Open Negotia- tions for Return of Little Harry Browe Urged Detroit, Sept. 11—(}—The grief- stricken father of little Harry Browe, missing since last Saturday, appeal- ed to the public Friday to give the kidnapers—if the 20-month-old boy ‘is the victim of an abduction—a clear path to open negotiations for his re- turn. Still another appeal was issued by acting chief of detectives William J. Collins, who said he did not have a single promising clue to the where- abouts of the baby boy who vanished from his carriage in Clark Park here. “Our chief interest is in the safe return of the baby,” he said: “If he is in the hands of kidnapers who fear to return him, I am appealing to them to turn the boy over to any clergyman they may choose.” To Show World Famed Passion Play in City “The Life of Christ,” famous new Passion play film, with musical ac- companiment, will be shown to the public at 8 p, m. Tuesday, Sept. 15. in the city auditorium under auspices of the McCabe Methodist Episcopal church. Depicting the story of Christ from the nativity until the ascension into heaven, the film is based upon and patterned after the world-famous, Freiburg and Oberammergau Passion plays of Europe, It actually was ined in Europe, Palestine and A Cups and appropriate musical score will be played throughout the entire film, on special sound equip- ment, reproducing some of the world’s choicest and most exquisite orchestral, organ and choral music by famous composers. The film is said to have won the profound admiration and approval of more than 1,500 of the largest churches in the United States and Canada. It has been exhibited to a half million people during the last three years. The film is one of unusual beauty and has been highly praised wherever it has been shown.
