© Couple Married in Beautiful Home Ceremony Is Taking Trip to Minnesota ‘Waxen tapers in crystal holders of graduated height, smilax and baskets of pink gladiolus banking the fire- Place formed the setting for one of the most beautiful weddings of the summer season Sunday when Miss Arllys Leanore Anderson and Harold Leonard Carlson were married in the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Anderson, 723 Second St. Officiating at the ceremony: et 1 o'clock was Rev. G. Adolph Johns, pastor of the First Lutheran church. As the guests, who were members of the two families and a few intimate friends, assembled, Adolph Engelhardt, and Mrs. G. Adolph Johns played a Program of violin and piano music, including the bridal chorus for the Processional. During the exchange of vows, they played softly a group of appropriate hymns. Bride Gowned in White The bride, who was escorted and given in marriage by her father, wore @ Victorian gown of white mousseline de sole over taffeta, styled on fitted lines with scalloped tucks trimming uf the skirt which flared into a slight : u oe train, the wide collar and puffed el-| pink bow length sleeves. Her short tulle veil was arranged in a cap banded with braided tulle and valley lilies. In her bouquet were Briarcliff roses, valley lilies and adiatum fern, and she also carried a Grecian lace handker- chief. She wore the bridegroom's gift to her, a cameo brooch. Her only sister, Mrs. A. M. Brazerol, Miss Arllys Leanore Anderson, Harold CarlsonExchangeVows ee as matron of honor, wore a model of pink net made over matching taffeta with a contrasting color note of orchid in a velvet sash, satin scandals and the rolled velvet band in her hair. She had a corsage of Briarcliff roses and gardenias and wore the bride's gift, a bracelet of brilliants, Niece Is Flower Girl Little Patricia Ann Brazerol, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She was costumed in a floor-length frock of peach organdy with graduated ruffles forming the full skirt. She wore clus- ters of valley lilies tied with green sa- tin ribbon at her shoulder and in her hair. A. M. Brazerol was best man for Mr. Carlson. , Richard Brazerol, the bride's nephew, acted as usher. Mrs. Anderson, mother of the bride, wore blue and white georgette and a/ corsage of orchids. Mrs. Jennie Carl- son, 409 Eleventh 8t., stepmother of the bridegroom, wore ecru lace over a Peach taffeta foundation. After the ceremony, pictures of the! bridal party were taken on the lawn| of the Anderson home and before the fireplace, before the entire group, numbering 23, went to the municipal golf course club house for a wedding dinner. Here decorations were in pink, white and green. Tapers in crystal holders, on which valley lily sprays weré tied with pink ribbon, roses combined with baby’s breath and blue bachelor’s buttons ar- ranged in low cut glass bowls, the three-tiered wedding cake and white| frilled nut baskets marked the long] table. Baskets of gladiolus were Placed at either end. Take Minnesota Trip Mr, and Mrs. Carlson left for an outing in Itasca park and the Minne- sota lake region, the bride wearing for traveling a coral knit suit with acces- sories in brown and a.corsage of roses which was fashioned as part of the bridal bouquet. They will be’ at home after August 5 at 917 Eighth St. Both Mr. and Mrs. Carlson are graduates of the Bismarck high school. The bride- groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Carlson of this city and has been connected with the First Na- tional bank for the last eight years, now holding the position of teller. * *e * Will Leave Wednesday For Alaskan Vacation Miss Mabel Olson, 607 Fourth 8t., Miss Alice Brown, 620 Fourth St., and @ friend of Miss Olson, Miss Edith Olson of St. Paul, who arrives here | ‘Wednesday, will leave the same day for Seattle, Wash. to join a party! making a: two-week tour to Alaska. Miss Olson is a junior high school instructor and Miss Brown is having a vacation from the workmen’s com- | pensation bureau. The tour will travel over three dif- ferent lines in making the rail part of the trip. They will take a Cana- dian Pacific steamer from Seattle to Vancouver, B. C., and then will con- tinue by train to Skagway, Alaska, from which point there will be sev- eral side trips.
