(Additional Churches on Edit. Page) AT THE MOVIES ‘Perfect Sweethearts’ ‘Teamed in New Picture ‘The nation’s motion picture fans shouted a prompt “Yes!” when Para- mount teamed up Fred MacMurray ‘and Carole Lombard for the first time ‘m “Hands Across the Table” a short ‘time back. So emphatic was the response that to time has been lost in casting them ‘ogether again ,in “The PrincessComes ‘Across,* booked to open today at the Paramount theatre. The story, designed to give best possible play to moviedom’s new fa- vorite “sweetheart team,” is set aboard = transatlantic §super-liner. Miss Lombard appears as a lovely ‘American girl, posing as a Swedish princess in order to gain a movie contract. Aboard ship she meets ‘MacMurray, concertina-playing band Jeader, and the romance begins. A pair of murders, blackmail, in- trigue and the snoopings of five de- ‘tectives en route to an international convention at New York provide sus- pense and thrills. All action of the plot is liberally sprinkled with music, comedy and romance of the distinct- ive MacMurray-Lombard brand. Alison Skipworth, Douglass Dum- brille, William Frawley, Porter Hall, George Barbier and a score of others make up the supporting cast. Powell, Arthur Well Matched for Mystery Jesting with a gun thrust in his ribs, romancing and playing pranks in the midst of dangerous murder investigations—these are specialties of William Powell! In “The Ex-Mrs. Bradford,” the RKO Radio mystery comedy in which he and Jean Arthur are co-starred, every opportunity is afforded him to show to best effect those qualities which carried him to peak popular- ity as a screen sleuth in “The Thin Man” and “Star Of Midnight,” for- mer detective adventures. This attraction will be presented at the Capitol theatre tonight and Sunday (four shows Sunday at 2, 4, T and 9 p. m.). A cast of unusual competence adds to the photoplay’s general excellence. Eric Blore is seen again in one of those butler roles for which he first won acclaim in “Top Hat.” James Gleason, Erin O’Brien-Moore, Lila Lee, Frankie Darro, and Frank M. Thomas have important supporting roles. The story was written by James Edward Grant who wrote “Whipsaw,” and whose novel, “The Green Sha- dow,” came to the screen as “Muss ‘Em Up.” The direction is by Stephen Roberts who also directed Powell in | “Star of Midnight.” | Enlarging Postoffice At Minot Considered Washington, June 6. — (®) — The treasury said Friday its procurement division was studying a proposal to enlarge the Minot, N.
