Danrot bases his can- didacy for the office of county treas- urer. Danrot was born and reared in Bur- leigh county. He was graduated from the Bismarck high school in 1923 and attended the Capital Commercial col- lege here before taking employment in the state hail department under Martin S. Hagen, where he remained for five years. After working for four years with the Soo Line, he attended the North {Dakota Agricultural college at Fargo and later worked in the CWA and FERA setups. For two years he was payroll auditor for the CWA under Gilbert Semingson and later worked as a statistician in the ‘WPA under Lester Diehl and Henry Holt, a posi- tion he resigned Feb. 1. Danrot, who owns both city and county property, stated: “I believe my training in public accounting and sta- tistical work and my many years ex- perience as a taxpayer qualify me for the position of county treasurer.” Danrot is a nephew of the late John P. Hoagland, pioneer of 1872, who held the office of treasurer from 1892 to 1896.
