Lamson went after wife-murder charges against him By treating seed corn this season to control fusarium blight and other destructive diseases carried by the seed, farmers of the state can ma- terially improve their chances for a satisfactory crop. This is pointed out by W. E. Brentzel, plant disease specialist of the NDAC experimental station, who recently completed a series af tests to determine the value of treatment for seed corn. Treated seed when compared with untreated seed in greenhouse tests came through the soil better in almost every instance. Likewise the plants from the treated seed were stronger and almost all of them were free from disease. The more than ordinary prevalence | of disease on the seed samples used in the tests indicate the special need _ for treating this year. Not one of 15 samples used in the seed treatments tests was free from all types of e disease. Six of the samples carried fusarium blight, a disease which of- ten causes small plants to die soon @ Picture she average Norge owner, Before Norge costs no more to own—less to use. she buys her refrigerator, she looks at three Terms are the easiest we've ever been able differeat makes—chooses Norge.
