© ‘Bismarck Girl Scout Council Committees Are Designated _ Directors Hold First Meeting With Miss Helen Goertz, New Director Introduction of four new members, Mmes. E. J. Heising, A. M. Kiland, F. A. Lahr and Themar E. Simle, and appointment of committees for the year marked the March meeting of the Bismarck Girl Scout council at which Miss Mary Cashel, vice presi- dent, presided. It was the council’s first meeting with Miss Helen Goertz, new Bis- marck Girl Scout director, who ar- rived recently from New York City to succeed Mrs. Simle, who had devoted part of her time to that work. The annual Stunt night for Girl Scouts will be held the week of April 13, according to a decision reached by the council. Mrs, Norman I. Roop was named Juliette Low member and will serve as the local organization's representa- tive in the group of national Juliette Low memorial workers. Committees selected include the following: Camp and camping— Mrs. W. B. Pierce, chairman, and Mmes, J. P. Wagner and Lahr, with all council members assisting during the summer; badges and awards— Mrs. John R. Fleck, chairman, and Mmes. Burt Finney, Heising and Roop; publicity—Mrs. Alex Rosen, chairman, and Mrs. James Trimble; personnel—Miss Cashel, chairman, and Mmes. J. E.
