It is a tenderly con- celved story well off the beaten track of screen entertainment. In the title role, nine-year-old Dickie Moore gives a superb perform- ance. He faces the world bravely, and with a wisdom beyond his years, helps further a romance that has not been going well. Eleanor Whitney, who made her Screen debut in “Millions in the Air,” plays opposite Tom Keene. Screen’ fans who know. her only as a tap- sensation have a pleasant surprise in store for them in her first straight dramatic role.
