DOCTORS KNOW Mothers read this: A A epee dose seeing a ee OY fomorrow; less each time, intil bowels need no help at all ‘Why do people come home ffom a hospital with bowels working like a well-regulated watch? The answer is simple, and it’s the answer to all your bowel worries if you will only realize it: many doctors and hospitals use liquid laxatives. If you knew what a doctor knows, you would use only the liquid form. A liquid can always be taken in gradually reduced doses. Reduced dosage is the secret of any real relief Jrom constipation. Ask a doctor about this. Ask your druggist how very popular “tui laxatives have become. They give the right kind of help, and right amount of help. The liquid laxative generally used is Dr. Caldwell’s Syrup Pepsin. It contains senna and cascara — both natural laxatives that can form no habit, even in children. So, try Syrup Pepsin. You just take regulated doses till Nature restores regularity. | JOHN C. WEST Dakota Education association in prominent men pictured above. Walter Welford. In 8 proclamation setting aside the Penalty of 10 cents a day and $2 for each 30 days or fraction of a month, the governor declared ‘conditions are such that many citizens have been and are now unable to:pay. such pen- alties, although able to buy the reg- ular license.” The license law was passed during normal times, “and did not contem- plate the present situation,” the Proclamation said. “Believing that it is for the best interests of the state and its people and for the purpose of promoting the general welfare by enabling us to utilize more fully our resources,” the governor proclaimed the partial holi- day “from the date of this procla- mation until the first, Monday of January, 1936, solely upon the collec- tion ‘of penalties from anyone delin- quent in obtaining a license for a car or truck operated by residents of this state.” The proclamation made il- legal any attempt to force collection on the penalty. The governor's action does not af- fect penalties on commercial cars, trucks or trailers. As @ result of the chief executive's proclamation, the motor vehicle reg- istrar’s division announced that if a vehicle is not used for an entire year, owners must still pay the $5.00 flat fee, but if the car is used, only the license fee for the year will be re- quired, and the penalty waived for this year.
