Local Garden Club Giving First Public Iris Exhibit Growers Will Show Choice Blooms in Free Show From 2 to 10 o'Clock Tueday ‘The Bismarck Garden club will sponsor an informal iris exhibit, which is to be free to the public and will be the first flower show of its kind ever to be held in the city, dent, announces, There will be no awards and no Evangelical Group to Have Outing Tuesday A wiener roast has been planned for Tuesday evening by the Christian Endeavor League of the First Evan- gelical church. Ackerman of St. Paul, former Bismarck resident who is vis- iting for several days at the home of her daughter, Mrs, E. Everett La- France, 1010 Avenue E, was honored at two informal afternoon day by Mrs. J. St, and Mrs. Forest M. Davis, 930 Sixth S8t., respectively. Twelve guests were entertained at each party, those invited being mem- bers of the McCabe Methodist Epis- copal church choir with which Mrs. Ackerman was ‘affiliated during her residence here. Sewing provided diversion on both occasions. The small luncheon tables were centered with deep roses when refreshments were served at Mrs. Lar- son’s party. Another former choir member incluged in Mrs. Davis’ party was Mrs. Harold Bell of Pierre, 8. D. Both Mrs, Ackerman and Mrs. Bell were presented with guest favors by Mrs. Davis, who used deep red peo- nies-as the floral centerpieces for her luncheon tables. Zalusky, Far- go, and Charles R. Andrus, son of ‘Mrs. Mary Andrus, Hazelton, repeat- ed their marriage vows at 8 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary's cathedral, Fargo, with Rev. Father Thomas Egan, pastor, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Herron of Fargo were attendants for the couple at the ceremony which was followed by & nuptial mass. The bridegroom is a brother of Bernard Andrus, 1004 Eighth St., and James W. Andrus, 320 Eleventh 8&t. The wedding breakfast was served at the Powers hotel for family mem- bers, including the bridegroom's mother and intimate friends of the couple. Mr. and Mrs..Andrus have left for a wedding trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin points and will be at home in the Carufel apartments, Fargo, after July 15. Mr. Andrus, who is state editor of the Fargo Forum, is a graduate of the Hazelton high schcool and the University of North Dakota. Shipp, 610 Rosser avenue, west, for three days before leaving for a week-end visit at Bowman. MacRae (Marcelle LaRose), whose marriage was an event of June 12, returned Sunday evening from their. trip to Vancouver, B. M. E. Delegation Goes To Annual Institute Rev. Walter E. Vater, who is a mem- ber of the faculty, and seven young People of the McCabe Methodist Epis- copal church Epworth League, have gone to Valley City to attend the an- nual Epworth League Institute, which opens Monday and continues through next Sunday. Rev. Alfred Roe, dis- trict superintendent, also has gone to serve as a faculty member and was accompanied by Mrs. Roe. The delegation included Isabel Gor- don, Doreen Church, Helen, Ellen and Dorothy Jensen and Earl and Lillian Benesh. “Forward with Christ” is the theme for the 1935 institute which is being held at Chautauqua park with the fol- lowing officers in charge: Rev.
