Young Henshaw, a 1932 graduate of the University of Chicago, is one of the greatest students in the major leagues. His National League record to date of 20 scoreless innings out of 21 pitched this season, indicates he is an excellent pupil. So far he has been the sensation of the Cubs pitch- ing staff. Manager Charley Grimm says of him: “That boy has shown me so much that I wouldn't be afraid to start him against Pittsburgh, the Giants or the Cardinals. And he should be inval- uable as a relief pitcher.” Fritz Grocery 222 So. 11th Phone 430 Snider’s Malt Syrup, Coffee, Whole Wheat Pure Preserves, Butter, Men Are Appointed Appointment of it 11 field men who will administer the retail sales tax in their divisions was announced Fri- day by the office of state tax com- missioner.
