Richard Arlen and Ida Lupino, two of Hollywood's most popular young layers, head a large cast which in- cludes Marjorie Rambeau. Based on “The Whipping,” a Roy Flannagan story, “Ready for Love” tells the exciting story of Marigold ‘Tate, a young, beautiful and im-| etuous girl who, upon her arrival in # small town, gets into trouble and soon finds herself the object of pub: Jic scorn. Blithely unaware of the scandal which she is creating, Marigold pur- sues here serene ay until an inno- cent prank, misinterpreted by the townspeople, endangers her life, makes her the object of an attack by & group of vigilantes. Only the efforts of a young news- paperman (Richard Arlen) save Mar- igold. Arlen, originally responsible Dolores Del Rio Star Of ‘Madame Du Barry’ “Madame Du Barry,” heralded as one of the great pictures of the screen, is scheduled as the feature attrac- tion at the Capitol Theatre tomorrow, with Dolores Del Rio heading an all- Star cast. Edward Chodorov, the author, throws an entirely new light on the famous beauty and favorite of |King Louis XV, whose many love ;Sffairs and madcap pranks were the scandal of the Continent. Chodorov |has concerned himself with Du Barry's jintimate life and loves, rather than with her political intrigues, although there are many clashes between her- jSelf and the Jealous court ladies |and courtiers who sought to destroy her influence over the king. These battles and conquests she tosses off with a laugh just as she does her mad escapades. In the Present picture, which is based large- ly on Mme.
