He knows that this condi- tion may cause headaches, loss of ‘appetite and energy, sleeplessness. It is often the starting point of serious illness. You can prevent and relieve com- ™mon constipation so easily. Just eat a delicious cereal once a day. Laboratory tests show that Kel- logg’s Ati-Bran provides “bulk” and vitamin B to aid regular hab- its, Att-Bran is also a rich source of blood-building iron. The “bulk” in Att-Bran is much | like that found in leafy vegetables. Within the body, it forms a soft mass. Gently, it clears out the in- testinal wastes. Isn't this “cereal way” safer and ~y, far more pleasant than taking pat- - ent medicines — so often harmful? Two tablespoonfuls of ALL-BRAN daily are usually sufficient. With each meal in chronic cases. If se- Tiously ill, see your doctor — ALL- Baan is not a “cure-all.” Enjoy Arz-Bran as a cereal, or fase in cooking. Get the red-and- Site by Kellogg in Battle Creck. It is the black magic of Africa, brought across the Atlantic in slave days, which the Brazilian specialists are scrutinizing at a four-day congress, Also watch- ing the weird rites are artists and writers. Beverly Korupp, Eloyse Kositsky, Adolf Kutchera, Philip Livdahl, which is said to hold strong sway over many illiterate natives. Natives of several tribes, immi- apd from Africa, are attending congress. African jungle magic, scientists say, is responsible for much men- tal suffering in this country when &@ person seeks relief for some dis- order, “The ‘patient’,” one authority said, “is kept awake several nights and put through weird, exotic rites.
