Hal c der den eure G ow 6he F den M. no g Pr Three years ago, two newcomers to two of Hollywood's most popular stars,| Hollywood thrilled movie audiences are teamed together for the first! time in the Columbia production, “It! ‘Happened One Night,” which is com-/ ing to the Capitol theater | Gable sky-rocketed to fame a couple of years ago following his appear-| ance with Norma Shearer in “A Free Soul,” and overnight became the most Popular male star on the screen. ‘Thousands upon thousands of fan letters poured into the studios, and, as a result, he was given roles with| many of the most famous female stars on the screen. He appeared with Shearer again in! “Strange Interlude,” and with Joan| by their portrayals in the Paramount picture, “Merrily We Go to Hell.” Today, those same two players, Sylvia Sidney and Fredric March, now first-line stars in their own right, are being co-starred in another Para- mount dramatic romance. It’s “Good Dame,” produced by B. P. Schulberg, jand it is showing today and Friday at the Paramount theater. Her money has been stolen by a confederate of Fredric March, gam- bler, grifter, wise-guy and “bad” boy, especially where women are concern- Naturally, these two—the “good” dame and the “bad” boy meet. The “bad” boy has always walked out on all his dames, from coast to coast, and he walks out on this one, too. But he turns around, prompted by love, and walks right smack into her arms. |. What love does to this couple makes form one of the most) very amusing and entertaining pic- ture.
